Anyone want to share bathroom remodeling photos?

I will when I get moved into my new place.

I'm not lying when I say the bathtub can comfortably seat about 8 adults.
It's huuuuge. And ridiculous, so I have to figure out a way to "lessen the effect" of it. :teeth: But not before I take a picture of me and a few friends playing cards in it for my Christmas card.

(rest of the place is awesome)

i would- but I have no idea how to post a photo on here.

OK, here's our first bathroom redo in our current home.

This is the first of 4 bathrooms we'll update over the next two months. We put ceramic tile in the room (on a diagonal, how tricky is that?!), removed wallpaper (which took 4 days and about a gallon of sheetrock mud to fix), replaced the faucet, and sewed a roman shade for the window.

I LOVE the color!!!

Rafiki- Did you sew the roman shade yourself? And if you had a pattern, where'd you get it? I am trying to find roman shades for odd shaped windows and theyareso expensive!! Your bathroom looks great!

Can anyone PM me and tell me how to post pics?

Sewing a Roman shade is really easy. Here's a link:

http://www.fabricandhomebonanza.com/how_to/roman_shades.asp

Basically, all you do is measure the inside of your window and cut a piece of fabric somewhat larger to turn under the edges. Then sew ring-tape to the back. Attach the top of your shade to a 1x2" board cut the width of your window with a staple gun. Then attach cup hooks onto the underside of the board directly in line with your ring-tape. Thread cord thru and tie the cords together on one side. Anchor your cord with a hook or cleat attached to the right side of the window.

You can embellish the fabric with trim at the end.

Easy enough? That shade cost me about $14.

Go to www.photobucket.com, open account, follow the steps there to upload a picture (are pictures on your PC?). Once the picture is on photobucket, go below the picture there in your account, copy the whole code in the img section (you'll see it) and paste it here in a post. You have a problem, send me a PM.

Paige, looks great.

oh my gosh- it's gigantic... thanks dan and rafiki... ok, now i'll post the before...

ok- i need to work on making those not soo big!!! sorry!

Rafiki- thanks for the link! I think I can do that!... Ok. I think with my MIL's help I can do that..

You can do basic size edits right on photobucket. Wow, you got that fast. :thumbsup2

Thanks Dan- it was pretty easy! Now I just have to messaround with it a bit and figure out how the rest of the sight works :rotfl2:

Oh, and I guess I should explain that my husband and I bought our house a year ago, and when we got here, we had that pink tin tiled monstrocity of a bathroomthat you seein pic# 2. Well, after moving out a wall, completely gutting the whole thing and putting all new stuff back in, we ended up with the bathroom in pic #1.

Congrats on the photo post, Becky.

Your bathroom looks great! I have thought about painting my bedroom a light, light blue and then using the Ralph Lauren damask blue and white to accent my bed. DH would have a fit--especially after I paid so much for this wallpaper border last year.

DH is working on finishing our fireplace redo right now. I'll post some photos when that's done.

Does anyone else have bathroom photos to share?

We are doing some major renovations to our home, starting with the master bath and ending with the kitchen. I went looking at vanities today, but nothing struck my fancy. I'll have some B&A pics soon though. My before pics are awful!

Wow, Rafiki, the bathroom in your before photo is hideous. Those stripes hurt my eyes. Looks so much better in the after photo.

Rafiki, yes, nice! Those stripes remind me of a hotel bathroom for some reason.

Becky, I like what you did, too.. Your "before" reminds me of my grandma's house in Hawaii that was built in the 50s (I think) and hasn't ever been renovated.

I'm busy with Girl Scouts right now, but will be working on our guest bathroom late next month. The walls are builder's white, but I am prepping to paint it a cream color and decorate it with a French theme and stencils.
