So I'm getting very excited considering we are almost at the six month mark. My photographer asked me this morning to put together a timeline for the day and I am a little lost. If my ceremony is at 2:30, what time do you think beaute speciale will want to arrive? Our ceremony is at WP and we'll be getting ready at the GF.

Here is what I have so far (I may be way off):

7:30am-9:00am: bridesmaid breakfast at 1900 park fare or the Grand Floridian Cafe
9:00am-12:30pm: getting ready
12:30pm-2:00pm: pictures
2:30pm-3:30pm: ceremony
3:30pm-4:30pm: guests will go to cocktail hour, DF and I will take pictures
4:30pm-8:00pm: reception at LSS
8:00pm-9:00pm: DP at UK lower

does that sound ok? Am I forgetting something? Should I add more time to "getting ready"?

You might want to add more time to pictures before the wedding, maybe...

Just a thought, I'm still working on my timeline too. :thumbsup2

How many people are getting their hair and makeup done bc that will determine how long you need.

Also... is your ceremony going to actually be a full hour? Mine was more like 20-25 minutes (we had a 12pm ceremony) and then we had the staged exit, family pictures and then our alone pictures until 1:30pm. We even made it to our cocktail hour and enjoyed the food.

Have you had your planning session yet? My planner gave me a prett good timeline during the planning session that is later printed on your BEO.

This was my time line:
8-10:30am hair & makeup just me and my mom
10am Randy arrived for getting ready pictures
10:30-11am Pictures with Danny and his family at the boardwalk
11:15-11:45 my pictures at the GF
12-12:30 ceremony
12:30-1:00 Staged exit, family pictures then everyone left to cocktail
1-1:30 our pictures around the WP and the beach club resort
1:45 Intoduced at our ceremony and partied until 6pm!!

Your timeline looks very similar as to how i hope mine will go in November. Can I ask you something. Where you done with hair and makeup when Randy arrived at 10:00 or was that part of his getting ready photos? Thanks!

When I told Patricia Lejeune that Randy would be there at 10ish she wanted to be done before he got there but he arrived even earlier I think at about 930ish, Patricia was like "damn I wanted to beat him!" lol apparently every wedding that Randy is the photog he's been early and Patricia wanted to be done before him lol.

I do have a few pictures of Patricia doing my makeup while my hair was still in pin curls. They're funny.

The Beaute Speciale girls will probably want to get there around 9:30 am depending on how many people are scheduled for hair/makeup. Your time line looks almost exactly like mine and it worked out great. Your photographer might want to get there after the makeup/hair are pretty much finished...ours arrived at 12:30 pm too and it was perfect. It was enough time for me to get my "getting ready" pictures, some of just me outside, and before the ceremony! We spent about an hour after the cake cutting for the bride/groom portraits. More than enough time if you're not traveling all over the place! :thumbsup2

My wedding is booked for 2:30pm, and Beaute Speciale are booked to turn up at 8am, we have 6 people getting their hair and makeup done.

I'm actually considering changing my timeline from

8am - hair and makeup
11am - Misty turns up
2:30pm - ceremony
pictures between
3:30pm - reception
7:30pm - dessert party

To:

8am - hair and makeup
11am - Misty turns up
12pm - Ceremony
pictures between
3:30pm - reception
7:30pm - dessert party

DF and I aren't doing a first look, so we want plenty of photos between the ceremony and reception of us, us and our families and us and our bridal party.

Photos are the most important part to me. :rolleyes1

How many people are getting ready?

There are three of us getting our hair done, My mother, MOH and I. The other girls will be doing their hair and makeup on their own.

I'm not sure yet... my uncle is doing the ceremony and we won't be going to meet with him until the end of August. I would assume it's going to be shorter, I don't want a long ceremony.

Nope, not yet- our planning session is in September, but that's definitely good to know. Maybe I will give the photographers a "rough draft" timeline. I can't wait for my PS!! :)

Photos are very important to me as well, which is why we are doing Studio 222 for ceremony and after, and DPS for the reception and dessert party. Are all of your guests going to be in your pictures? I want one big everybody shot.

Hi I am also having a 2:30 ceremony at the WP, and have made myself a tentative time line. It looks pretty similiar to yours! Here is mine:

8:30 Wake up, shower
9:00 Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare, Grand Floridian
10:00 Dress Steaming by Carolyn Allen’s
10:30 – 12:30 Hair & Make up Beaute Speciale
12:30 – 1:00 Get Dressed, Getting Ready Photos
1:00 – 1:30 Bridal & Bridesmaid Photos
1:30 -2:00 Groom & Groomsmen Photos
2:30-3:00 Ceremony
3:15-3:30 Family & Wedding Party Photos
3:30-4:00 Bride & Groom Photos
3:30 – 4:30 Cocktail Hour/Pre-Reception
4:30 – 8:30 Reception

Any thoughts or tips on my schedule anyone? I plan on just getting ready with my Mom and MOH/sister because I am having 6 bridesmaids and a flower girl, and I do not want the stress of getting ready with 9 ladies and a 2 year old in one room on my wedding day! So I am just going to have them meet us after they are all ready at around 12:30. OP, are you planning on asking your bridesmaids to come to breakfast with you, and then go to their rooms to get ready, and then meet up? Id like for the girls to come to breakfast with me but then they might be too rushed to go back to their rooms and get ready?

Ok, so we can't do this timeline :headache: but my planner assures me we'll have plenty of time for photos... Now I've just got to convince myself. Maybe I'll open the discussion about doing a first look with DF again. Neither of us wanted to do it, but I want lots of photos!!

wow...reading the timelines really freaked me out for some reason... I havne't done one yet...lol

Our ceremony is at 6pm...

breakfast at 9

set up - 1030-1230 (I wanted to decorate my own reception area..I"m anal like that, but other than that...no bridezilla tendancies...lol)

1ish - hair and makeup

Pictures...

hmm....how much time do I really need to get ready before the ceremony at 6?? lol
I'm not a heavy makeup hair fixed type girl.. :)
