Anyone want a challenge?? Need budget trip figured.

Heres the deal, my SIL wants to take a trip to Disney....her kids first and was going to go for only 3 day I have talked her out of that, and was trying to convince her that she could do 5 days for about the same money. Here is what I have found....see if you all know of a cheaper way.


March 16th - 21st Flying out of Michigan

2 adults, 2 children under 10

Allegiant air $561.oo Amazing rate will not be beat I dont think

Room- Disney all star music, 5 day MYW base tickets $1645.00 plus $300 gift card for food.

Total 2206-300=$1906

Can any of you pros get it cheaper then that?

Sorry I should have stated that Im thinking they need another 200 for food, although neither of the children eat hardly at all, and she will be bringing some food for snacks.

Do they need to pay for parking at the airport in Michigan? Also, doesn't Allegiant fly into Sanford instead of MCO? How will they get to the resort?

The food budget will probably be fine as long as they stick to counter service. It would be nice if they could fit one character meal (like maybe late breaksfast at Chef Mickeys) in to the budget.

Hee, we will drive them to the airport as its 20 min from my house, so no fee there.

They will need transportation I believe from MCO to the hotel, as It doesnt look as though Allegiant is part of the magical express option...they just started going to MCO this Feb.

Any idea how much Hoop Dee Doo Review costs?

They might want to consider town car service from and to the airport - many include a stop for groceries so they could pick up breaksfast and snack items. That reminds me, if the need to rent a fridge, that's an additional charge, and don't forget mousekeeping tips (not that that amounts to much).

Just an FYI- it does not matter WHAT airline they fly - as long as they land at MCO - they can use magical express. The luggage could be the issue - but they can just pick it up themselves and walk it to the bus with them!

Any way you can go with them? Our best budget trip we split a townhouse at Windsor Hills with my sister's family so we each paid $350 for the week for a super nice place to stay. Of course we did have to rent a car then- $200 for the week via priceline.

Nope, we are paying stuff off this year, in hopes of doing a week next spring ourselves. We went in 2007, but now have to add the "baby" and its amazing to me how much more the cost is for one extra child

Do they have time to do the Give a Day, Get a day volunteer opportunity? They could get the room only 30% off and then upgrade the tickets. If the kids are over 6. I'm not sure there's time to do it before March though.

Would they consider staying off site but close for part of the stay? I dont know if they would have any interest in this at all but if we refer someone through our timeshare they can stay for 3 days for free. They may really want to stay on site though. We are staying there the week after they are.
