Hi there

Just looking at buying tickets to wdw. I have looked at ticket mania for tickets and the price is good.

Anyone used them before? are they well known/trusted place?

our travel agent quoted us $900 new zealand for 2 6 day park hopper tickets where i can get the same thing on ticket mania for $660 new zealand dollars.

I cant order via the ticket place here on the dis as they only sent within the states. (ticket mania sends overseas free).

We are using them for the second time this year. I highly recommend them we had our passes well before our trip. You can't beat the prices they have.

Getting ready to use buy our tickets next month for our Jan trip. No problems, great prices. Just make sure you allow enough time to get them. It took about 10 business days and thats in the US. However, I like to pay for mine a few months in advance, so this is not a problem.

I have used them the last two times I have gone and have had no problem at all. I just used them again for a trip we have planned for next week. I ordered them last Thursday and paid for the 2-3 day rate and they were here on Monday. No problem at all. I think they are great.

We have used Ticket Mania 3 or 4 times the last few years. We had no problems at all!!

We had a great experience with Ticketmania this year and would use them again!

Just FYI: Some people are surprised when they get their tickets that they're not the plastic types (like the room keys) -- they're more of a linen/paper ticket, still very durable if you're not crumpling them in your hand constantly! :)

Also, I believe Ticketmania can have your passes delivered to your resort. Might be an option if you're worried about them getting to you in NZ.

It's ticketmania.com -- they're a ticket broker that sells Disney (and other)passes at pretty good rates!

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone has put the tickets they bought from ticketmania onto their room key at checkin? Or does Disney kind frown on you when they realize you didn't by it from them direct??

Also when buying from ticketmania.com you should sign up for mousesavers.com newsletter and you will many times save even more on tickets! :) they send out the news letter every month on the 15th if you can wait till next month to buy tickets it could be worth a few extra $ in savings! I bought mine on 8/3 and got them yesterday on 8/15, we are going to disney on 9/3 so it was perfact time of delivery!!! Great company and will buy from again for future trips! :)

This is a good tip. I bought park hopper tickets for our trip last December and had them within days from Ticketmania. No problems. Mousesavers.com is a great resource guide to anyone planning a trip to WDW.

We bought are tickets from ticketmainia and had them placed on our room key card with no problem. We even had a split stay, and trasnfered the tickets to our new key cards when we moved from VWL to BCV. Easy, fast and it seemed like a normal occurance.

We had no problems with our tickets. They came quickly and included a copy of the back to carry with us if they were lost. Did not even think of asking to have them added to the key. Great idea!

Well I did like Ticketmania prices and bought them, but when we lost a ticket we went to our copy they sent us I didnt notice the last ticket got the last line cut off, and of course that was the ticket we lost. They couldnt help us they said just go to Guest Relations and of course they told us they needed the last line on the ticket! Ticketmania finally said "sorry we cant help" even though I had my order # receipt and poor copy of my tickets. So we had to buy a new ticket - we did finally find the ticket at Disneys main Lost & Found and Disney did refund it! But I guess I should say make your own copy of your tickets dont rely on the ones they send - Make your own copy! I would have never noticed even if I was looking at it now - Disney said if you had bought them from us we could have looked them right up! But it was the only child ticket all the rest were adults cause my DD is 11 so, Part my fault part theirs, but they washed their hands of me pretty quick.

We've used them twice with good experiences both times.

I priced 9-day hoppers with expiration and the price came out to be MORE than it was on the disney website. Why is that? I thought these were supposed to be discount tickets?

Ticketmania quotes prices with tax already included; WDW's site does not, until you put them in the checkout basket and total it up. Maybe that was the difference?

Also, TM lists all the MYW options on separate lines, so make sure you're comparing apples to apples.

Edited to add: What I mean above is, make sure you weren't pricing tickets with different amenities (hopper vs plus vs premium), as they can all be purchased with the nonexpiring option or without it.

Just wanted to add that I just looked up this information. Here is what I found for 9 day passes that expire, tax included (the first price I list on each line is Ticketmania):

Expiry Basic $210, Disney $218
Expiry with Park Hopping $235, Disney $243
Expiry with Magic Plus (5 Visits) $245, Disney $254
Expiry Premium with Park Hopping & Magic Plus (5 Visits) $283, Disney $291

The Disney prices DO appear lower initially, but after after tax is figured in, they come out to be slightly higher.

As others have mentioned, the mousesavers newsletter gets an even better deal. TM is also one of the few places to sell Disney Quest tickets at a great discount.

we use them every trip for at least 3 tickets. We have had them delivered to all hotels (off site and on) and to our home. Very reliable!
