Anyone Used Thrifty Car Rental at SNA?

Anyone tried the Wild Car Program at Thrifty Car Rental at SNA? What was your experience like?

Thrifty has a great rate for our 9/6 - 9/9 trip...$60.02 Total so I'm trying to decide if I should change from Enterprise to Thrifty. I've never used Thrifty so any comments will be appreciated.

We have a rental car booked with Thrifty at SNA 8/20-8/30. They were the cheapest I could find. I'll post about my experience after we get back. We are getting an SUV, so I won't know anything about the WildCar although it does look interesting

Anyone tried the Wild Car Program at Thrifty Car Rental at SNA? What was your experience like?

I've used Hotwire and ended up using them. No problems or issues. Keep checking hotwire I got my car for $11 day. Dang cheap. Kept trying to get me to "upgrade" I said No thanks, I'll keep the $11 special. Turns out they already rented out the $11 special and had to give me the next up for that price. They were trying to trick me into upgrading for the higher price, but since I said NO they had no choice but to give me the $11 price on the nicer car. I didnt care. PLUS I refused to buy their insurance. hehe. Other than that.......

and the line was VERY long. None of the other companies had much of a line, but I was guessing it was at least a 30 minute line. If that happens to you, you might send someone from your party to get the car while another waits for the bags. This is easy to do at SNA as they are very close together.

Great rate and here I thought $12 day was good!

I have used them about 4 times. I thought they had the best price. The line in the terminal can be long. We waited about 45 minutes one time. I learned and signed up for their "blue chip club" for free and on my next trip I was able to head right down to the rental car pick station and get my car.

The blue chip club requires you provide all your information but you skip the lines in the terminal.
