Anyone used the Laughing Place?

I just found this site, the laughing place, with stuff that is sold in the parks for a discount. Is it really a discount? i.e. autograph books regularly 15, get for 10 bucks. If it is i'm buying them now and have them shipped to save me the expenses.

Not if you're talking about the Laughing Place Store. I bought some lanyards from them a few years ago and they were DOUBLE the price of the ones at Disney AND i paid shipping. I should have waited!

I also recently purchased some items from Laughing Place, so called because they Laugh all the way to the bank with your money! I ordered 2 photo/ autograph books, 2 Epcot Passports, and some pens, thinking we would give these to our neices to tell them where we were going (this is a surprise trip for them). I paid over $80. When the items came, the price stickers were still on them and the total cost was only about $50! Who was it that used to say " A sucker is born every minute."? That would be me!

I've bought things too from them, but the *shopping fee* is just too much. I can call Disney directly and save money. I found a sweatshirt on their that was close to $60 but directly through Disney it was $38.

It's not a regular online store. They admit that they go to WDW parks to buy things. It's a shopping service. I guess it's good for someone who may have forgotten to buy a souvenir or something like that. If you have a trip planned and don't need the item right away, you'd save by shopping yourself.

I just used them to buy a lanyard for my daughter's birthday. I know I paid more than I would in the park, but I wanted to give it to her for her birthday (yesterday) with some pins that I bought on eBay. It was worth it--she was so excited when I gave it to her yesterday!

Delivery was kind of slow, good thing I ordered it really early.

That place is a big rip off. No way would I buy from them. They marked up the items big time. Stay away from them.
