Anyone used DVC Rental Store to sell confirmed res?

Is your reservation also for Christmas? Because that's probably why that one is listed so high.
Mine is for (details removed by mod) Hypothetically, I would get paid by the broker $18/pt x 64 = $1152 which is insanely low given that the cheapest analogous GCH room for that time is $2930.

I don't expect the full GCH rate, as my reservation would be non-refundable while going through Disneyland gives you 5 days to cancel with refund, but even with a 25% haircut ($2200), I would be handing the broker 50% of the revenue.

I get it, they have a right to charge that, but it's so out there I had to blink and consult y'all on it!

If you rent via a broker, the renter pays them in full at the beginning..,you get your initial payment and the rest on check in day, regardless of what the renter decides to do.
Not true with DVC rental store. Only have to put a deposit and pay in full 75 days prior. So not sure how that works for owner if people back out. We always use them when out of points to rent but never rented our points. We actually just booked with them and we only put $900 down out of $3800. Rest isn’t due until 75 days out.

This is also why I use the Dvc Rental Store. Plus the cancellation policy is a bit better than other brokers. Though you don't get an actual refund, you do get it back as credit which is good for two years.
