Just wanted to see if anyone had used chegg and what your experiences were. DD is ordering her books for sophomore year and we are looking into this...it seems good because one of her books is $180 and to rent it on chegg is about $65! She is only going to need it for the one semester.

TIA! :)

My Dd uses Chegg and I used it over the summer to rent a Biology book. They are easy to deal with; fast shipping too and you can use the box your books came in to return it to them (free return shipping!) Sometimes you can find discount codes if you search on google. It's a great way to save money if you don't think you will need to keep the book to refer back to later on.

We have used Chegg and have always been happy. However, before making your decision, also check campusbookrentals.com and bookrenters.com. Compare the prices on all three sites. There can be a pretty hefty difference. Renting is definitely the way to go, though!

I've used chegg since freshman year! It's amazingly cheaper! :)

We use Chegg and it saved us a bundle! College text books are expensive. Don't buy them, rent them!
