Saw this while I was channel surfing the other day and looked interesting but it's expensive.

Does it work? How long does a bottle last? Thoughts?

I've used it before but I won't anymore. It worked fine, but for the expense it should work amazingly. Even though it's supposed to be different and you use this "different" stuff, it works like any other shampoo and conditioner set. Plus you have to use a lot of it, so it gets expensive. Just wasn't worth it to me.

I've used it and I do like it. But it didn't protect my red hair color any more than anything else. But reds are hard to keep and my hair is pretty porous so YMMV. I would say that if you have especially dry or coarse hair it might be worth it. I have fine hair but a lot of it, and a shag style hair cut that barely brushes my shoulders and I have to use 15-20 pumps (probably about 3-4 tablespoons worth). I never used it as a leave-in.

Some of the scents can be kind of overwhelming. I've tried the lavender, tea tree, and cucumber aloe. The cucumber aloe was by far the lovliest scent of the three. The lavender and tea tree were kind of strongly scented.

I bought it for my daughter but she said it was a pain to have to time everything. She used ot twice and then threw it away.

I use it and timing for me isn't an issue I put it in when I first get in, I do the rest of the showering and just before I am ready to get out I rinse it out. I have hair that is just above the neck and I use 1-2 pumps for each the front, back and the sides. If you have longer hair then you would use more pumps. It is expensive but I get mine from QVC and they run specials on it periodically. We got the gallon jugs in June and previously we had the taller bottle about a quart of it and that lasted me 6 months. Based on what I would spend on Shampoo, Conditioner, and a leave in product for 6 months it was about even.

Not everyone will be a fan and if your not sure you will like it, try going to QVC's site they sometime have kits that have smaller bottles in it so you can try it for a bit before buying larger quantities.
