We will be taking a trip from Maryland to Nova Scotia, Canada this coming August. My son will be just shy of his first birthday and I'd like to avoid lugging the pack 'n play. I found this travel bed in the 'One Step Ahead' catalog and thought it looked like the perfect thing to bring along. You can click on 'detail view' under the photo to see how easily and compactly it folds.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this product? The only thing bothering me a little bit is that the 'One Step Ahead' catalog says it's for birth to 1 year. It looks to me like it could be used beyond that, but I'd hate to waste my money if my son won't be able to use it that much.

I did find it being sold through on babycenter.com and there it says 'birth and up' which is more promising. A couple reviewers mentioned their babies were 16 months old and loved it. I was just curious if anyone here has used it and could tell me if you think it could be used well beyond 1 year.

One other thing, although there were many great reviews, a couple people said they found it difficult to figure out how to fold it up. Have you had any trouble with that, and is it something that would cause you to not recommend it to others?
