I am looking for a cheaper way to develop my digital pictures. Right now I have been going to Walmart to get my pictures developed, but at 28 cents a picture that really adds up. At snapfish.com they only charge 9 cents per picture. Is their quality good? How long does it take to get your pictures? Are there any other sites out there that are better or cheaper?

TIA

I use Snapfish and I like them. It does take about 5 or 6 days to get your pictures through the mail. I usually just have them print out at Walgreens because I'm impatient, they charge more per print to do that but you don't have to pay shipping. I like using Snapfish because I like to do all my editing at home and not in the store.

I have used Snapfish for a while - to get prints of things I have uploaded and also to get film developed. I buy their bulk prints so I get them for 8 cents and they are generally good. I like being able to choose matte or glossy and get multiple print sizes. I also use their group rooms a lot to share pictures with others. They will also print pictures that stores won't do - like cruise and other copyright pictures. You can scan them in and upload them to get prints.

just recently used mpix.com for the first time.......VERY IMPRESSED!!!! (these were 8x10's also, so that's why I was so impressed).

I didn't think that my pictures would come out that good. Almost looked like they were taken with a better camera than mine. And they use professional type paper too (matte finish, with the option of using metallic paper).

And as far as price for 4x6's, it's $.19 (if you don't need color correction). Of course you have to pay shipping, but if you print enough pics, you should eventually save a little money.

Anyway, enough babeling.....i'll just say that I was very impressed; and actually have their webpage open, as I'm typing this, to order about 190 4x6 prints from my recent cruise.

HI , I have used snapfish with good results. I also use it to upload photos to share online with family and friends. Only thing you have to remember is you have to buy something once a year. It can be 1 photo. Prices are good too and there is usually a coupons somewhere or code. Google up
"snapfish coupon or code".

I use Snapfish, also with good results, although if I need something to hang on the wall, I'll use MPIX. I also use Snapfishes quick turnaround avenue and have photos printed at Walgreen's, which is about one minute from the house. The photos from Walgreen's are suprisingly good, so I can have the best of all worlds. Note that there is a slight increase in price for the Walgreen's convenience, but it's worth it to have photos in about an hour.
