Now that we have decided we are driving to save $$$, I am still trying to figure out the best deal for accomodations. we are a family of 5 , DH and myself and 3 boys age 12 and twins that will be 9 this summer when we go!

We would like to stay on site , maybe ASM in 2 rooms so we would have some space but a house/suite with some kitchen facilities sounds good too!

Help!!

:moped:

We managed to get Homewood suites Kissimee for 1 week for around 800 canadian last fall. It was plenty of room for our family of 4 and my parents. There was a kitchenette. Also they had complimentary full hot buffet breakfast every morning we managed to eat so much we did not need lunch. And mon-thurs they had a small supper as well with unlimited beer, wine and soda, the suppers were pasta and salad and rolls, taco's etc. This was also complimentary. If you want to check it out try trip advisor and type in Homewoods suites by hilton kissimmee it's on parkway drive. You are real close to Disney less than a 2 mile drive. We definitely reccommend this spot even tough we are going to stay on site at ASMo in the fall. TTFN and have fun planning, hope this helps Kat By the way i've never tried skyauctions but my husband's coworker has, and had no trouble, i guess i'm just a little cautious, and we have a wonderful travel agent :cheer2:

I have used Skyauction at least 5 times and have had great success.

We usually get a week for around $260 to $300 US for a week in a 2 bedroom. It has gotten a little harder to get the same resorts we once got but still a good choice for us.

We should get a Moncton area DISmeet organised and I could show you some pics of the places we have been.

Sounds like a great idea to me!

I used Skyauction last April and got a 2 bedroom at Silver Lake for $261- US and a 2 bedroom at Orange Lake for $495US. Both were great and I would stay at either one in a heartbeat.
