AmazonLocal has a Picaboo deal - $40 for $14. Just wondering if anyone has used them before and what the quality is like. I make books for DD for every trip but just do the Walmart ones - they are pretty nice and cheap ;). For this next trip I want to make one for my mom and wanted a nicer one.

I got a deal 2 years ago. It was a a Groupon - $50 value for $25 plus they had a promotion for a free large classic book at the same time. For $25 I got 2 albums and 50 personalized thank you cards. Couldn't beat it. The quality was pretty good. Not as great as when I do my own scrapbook pages and print from persnickety prints but better than the local prints IMO.

If you deal is like mine. The $40 is a gift card code and you can combine it with other promotions. I would hold it until you see a promotion to get more for you $$

Yeah, it says that it can be used for more than one thing and if there is $ left over it could be used on another order. So I am guessing it can be used like a gift card and promos can be applied :)

I have used them for Christmas gifts and was very pleased. Good quality and great prices.

I like them..lots of design choices and decent quality. I just bought a $50 certificate for $15 so will make a book for a Christmas gift with that.

Thanks for the responses :goodvibes I also want to make a couple of albums for Christmas - instead of photos it will be full of DD's art and they will be gifts for the grandparents :lovestruc

I have made several albums and have always been pleased. I find there album makers easy to use and easy to customize. Have fun!

We bought $100 credit for $30 a while back. From what we understand you can't use it with other sales ie 2 for 1 or use it for shipping.

We do like the 6x8 soft cover books but didn't find their software that easy to use so we use Creative Memories software to create pages then imported the pages to Picaboo.

The 20 page softcover 6x8 turns out to be about $5 + $8 shipping.
