I have never used them before but after a google search found them and they will save me about $25-30. I have an early am flight and a very light return. Anything you can share would be appreciated.

TIA

I've not used that particular place, but I always use off site parking. I have used Avistar on McClellan St. and have always had good experiences.

I don't know what you are paying but avistar has online coupons for 79.95 for 7 days and 11.95 per day.

I am planning on using ABC parking for $8/day no tax. Has anyone ever used them?

I also use Avistar at McClellan. Nothing but good experiences. Really nice to have the car warmed and the ice off the windshields during the winter.

Check the web site for coupons. They also give a discount with AAA.

I used AviStar before but Park2Go was showing $4 a day cheaper plus no tax. Seemed like the savings would at least buy my Main Street Popcorn but not worth it if anyone had something negative to say

Parked my car there for 10 days. When retrieved it had been flooded to the door sills, and was covered in mud and bird feces. Park2go refused to communicate. Did not park car where stated. Cost $730 to have electronics fixed, plus had to remediate mold in carpet. Stay away from this place. Several complaints unanswered by BBB.

Another user of Avistar... I always get a decent rate. The shuttle service is quick, much easier than using long term parking. They offer a AAA discount, have online coupons and I have also gotten a discount through Jet blue. They may have a coupon in the Entertainment book. Just google avistar + coupon and you may come up with something good!

I am another fan of Avistar never a problem!!! They also do have the coupons online at avistarparking.com!! Good luck!

My car was smashed in early Dec. 2006 in the parking lot. The refused to give me any compensation even deductible. Somebody must be driving my car when the accident happened because the air bag deployed. I am going to sue them. Don't park there if you care about your car.

I have used ABC at Newark twice with no issues. Their lot is smaller and the office is in a trailer, it appears to be a family run operation. I like them due to the 3 hour grace period - so if you have a 27 hr reservation you only pay for 1 day.

I was parked at Park2Go valet lot over a long weekend. Upon returning, we realized expensive sunglasses were stolen out of the car. The Manager and another employee mentioned they even new the employee responsible but never returned repeated calls after my initial call. If you value your possessions and your car, do not park at this lot. The parking lot is in a dusty and dirty field at Newark Airport (EWR) so your car will be filthy as well.

We have used Avistar on Haynes Ave. at least 10 times with no problems. We use the AAA discount which they told us is a better discount than if we used the online coupons.

scrappermcl ~ how did you get a discount through Jet Blue? That is who we are flying with in a couple of weeks.

It's a little peculiar that all 3 who've had bad experiences happen to mention in it as their very first post. :confused3

Lurkers who have been burned as such would be fired up enough to post for the first time to try to keep people from having issues in the future. Thats why I'd post-am posting. I think it's perfectly logical.

We used them last year and the car was definately driven, milage was changed slightly from the value I recorded. Most incidental items were gone from the car when we looked for them. The money we saved from the discount was poured back into the losses from the theft. So we called it a wash and won't use them again.

Have used Avistar, and the facility and staff are much superior to Park2Go. Still doesn't make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I know several people who use Park2Go regularly without an issue however. I just think their "oopsie" rate is higher due to their unprofessional practices. But the law of averages may be in your favor, for me I won't take that risk even with my "beater" third car.

George

I joined this forum on purpose to post a notice that Park2Go was terrible. I had to get the word out. We parked there for a long trip and the van driver, after he unloaded our luggage (and another family's) upon our return, promptly put the van in reverse and rode over 3 pieces of luggage.! (How stupid can you be!. ) The manager at the time said they would replace our luggage- "just send me the receipt". When I got home, several pieces of jewelry purchased on our trip were ruined., I took photos of them and sent the receipt for the suitcase and the cost of these items off to the manager, assuming that he would stand behind the claim. A month later, no word, no reply to repeated phone calls. no nothing, DO NOT USE THEM!. I wish I had checked before I booked with them.

So, after reading these posts I'll quote my mom: You get what you pay for.

We use Avistar, and we just got back Tuesday night. I called ahead for a bus pickup when we returned to EWR, when we picked up the car, the motor was running, the defroster was on, and the attendant was taking the ice off the windshield. We have never had problems with Avistar Haines Ave or Avistar McClellan St...Newark Airport.

i left my car at the new calgary park2go
i came back 3 days later and its missing about 2000$ of body parts
mainly the front and side skirts my car was parked right in front of the office at that...
they still forced me to pay for parking and refuse to pay me back for the problems
i am now going to sue them and see where that takes me
long story short
DONT USE PARK2GO

I can't comment about Park2Go, but I've used ABC airport parking several times and have had excellent experiences each time.

Good luck.

i've been parking with park2go for a long time and i joined this site especially to say that their services have certainly improved in the last year or so. they are punctual and ive found the facility to be safe. i cannot say the same for avistar.
park2go definitely has the best parking in their price point. good rate and i even tipped well last time i was there! i would say it's a safe bet for any of you guys traveling in the near future.
