anyone use Kemper insurance?

Considering Kemper Insurance. Any thoughts?

We have used Kemper for both home and auto for almost 10 years. We use an agent locally, (so not Kemper Direct) but have been happy with them. We've had a few claims, a couple of minor car things, and our house was struck by lightning last year and fried all our electronics, the claims have been dealt with pretty quickly and with not too much trouble. Based on our experience thus far, I'd recommend them. Good luck!

We have Kemper as well! They are great and alot cheaper. We have a local agent.

We've had them for almost two years. No claims so I cannot help with that. A couple of things... First off every time you make ANY change to the policy such as adding a new car or driver they will pull all driving records again. Also, they will get a CLUE which will indicate any claim activity. (again each time) Another annoyance is that they will rate a youthful driver to the highest rated car even if they do not drive it. My 18 year old drives an older Honda Accord but is rated on a very expensive Mercedes. Needless to say our insurance with two youthful males is through the roof! Good luck!

We have them. It is a huge savings over State Farm and we are helping a local friend.
