Anyone use Expedia?

Expedia has some great rates on Disney Hotels, I was just wondering if anyone has every booked through them? Are there any hidden costs? Has anyone had any problems? TIA!

I HAVE ONLY BOOKED AIR THRU EXPEDIA, BUT I HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THEM. I THINK WHEN THEY DISPLAY A PRICE IT INCLUDES ALL TAXES AND OTHER CHARGES.

I have booked many, many hotels through Expedia and had a small bit of trouble once but it was rectified at the hotel very quickly. Only once havce I booked a Disney hotel through Expedia and there was no problem. The only extra charge you would find would be if you canceld in which case Expedia charges $25 on top of what ever the hotel may charge.

Funny you should ask this.

I was looking at Expedia last night. Wilderness lodge for January 6 nights, woods view. It came up with a price of $930. The site gave the breakdown as $134 a night, plus $22.93 tax and fee.

I was about to book it, and the next screen added in passes to the park .

So I couldn't book for the price it quote for the room (without the passes). So my advice is be sure to click through all the screens.

I had an interesting Expedia experience. Only semi-WDW related. On our up-comming WDW trip I wanted a particular hotel for a stop on our way home. When I went in to the hotel website, they showed "no availability". Then I went to Expedia and they had availability - so I booked through Expedia. Didn't notice the rates were anything special, but I got the hotel I wanted.

I had the same experience as JadeTiger. Got a really good room rate but it kept adding tickets and options. I tried several times to exclude the passes and other options without any success. I'm an AP holder so I didn't need the tickets but I sure would take the room!

I have only ordered airline tickets thru Expedia but they were very professional and the price was great!!
