As anyone used their DVC points to stay and the Wyndham resort in Nashville TN? We are booked to stay there for a week in Oct and I was looking for reviews of the resort.

Shelly I have not stayed, have heard good things about the location.

But I would check about flood damage. I am sure they were damaged during the floods that put Opryland hotel out of business until Nov.

Here is a video of the flood.

Wyndham Nashvillle has reopened. This is from the Wyndham owners' web site (unfortunately, you need to log in as an owner to read the original):

Wyndham Nashville Welcomes You Back
Nearly three months to the day after significant rains and flooding hit the Nashville, Tenn., area resulting in the unexpected closure of the Wyndham Nashville resort, the doors to this popular resort reopened on Aug. 6, 2010, with a limited number of units available to CLUB WYNDHAM® Plus Members.

Since early May, the property has been abuzz with around the clock activities and construction to make all necessary repairs and return the resort to the CLUB WYNDHAM Plus portfolio. In partnership with the resort’s board of directors, our insurance providers, finance teams and the dedicated associates who serve you at Wyndham Nashville, the Wyndham Resort Renovation and Design team worked diligently on your behalf to reopen a portion this resort ahead of schedule on Aug. 6. With a reopening celebration planned for Sept. 1, 2010, the resort and its associates are gearing up to share their special blend of southern hospitality.

According to Gary Byrd, chief customer officer, “I could not be more pleased with the outstanding team effort shown since day one in getting Wyndham Nashville back in great condition. And I’ve been even more impressed by the patience and understanding shown by you, our owners, during this time. The resort associates are excited to get back to doing what they love – delivering great experiences to you and your guests."

What are you waiting for? If you’ve ever considered visiting Nashville for the first time or want to come “home” again, make plans to stop by and stay a while. Welcome home, Wyndham Nashville. You’ve been missed!

A few of the resort's amenities may still be under repair. Give the resort a call to check after specifics: 615-871-4666
