I have a 5 year old and a 3 year old. I know my 5 year old will want a break from walking every now and then, but she will not want to use a stroller a lot. So, I was thinking about attaching a buggy board to my stroller...any thoughts or advice. Anyone use one and like it??? or hate it? They are expensive, but I'd rather buy one and it come in handy then rent a stroller. we go to disney every year. TIA

I thought about getting one a few years ago.

But the price made me not do it as did my dh telling me that I'd be tripping over my feet trying to walk or avoid the thing.

So instead we bought a Jeep umbrella stroller for my then 4½ yo & my 22 mo old sat in the other stroller.

The next trip I had a Joovy since we had one more kid.

Next trip I will bring the Jeep for my youngest who will be 6 as a just in case, I think.

Thanks. Our good umbrella stroller broke, so I already need to buy a new one for my 3 year old...i really don't want to buy another one for my 5 year old...she doesn't use one. I don't think she'll use it alot in November either, but she will want a break from walking. Hope someone out there has used a buggy board so they can give me some advice too!!

I'm sure you're older DD will need a stroller at least some of the time. My DD hasn't used a stroller for the past few years except when we visit DLR. You can bet I'm bringing it for her for our first WDW visit. Her Disney stroller is a Mac Volo.

We have one for using around town, my three year old who isn't very big I feel is too heavy for it. It makes it quite hard to push. So we no longer use it.

If it was me, I would purchase a small, cheap umbrella stroller, and let her use that if and when she wants.

We had our stroller for Seth and the small umbrella stroller hooked on the handles so we weren't pushing them both around. It worked great for us.

Cullen would use it when he felt he needed it.

We hired one in Disneyland recently, what a nightmre because then neither child wanted in our one they fought over the rented one. Until we handed the rental back and then our one became suddenly popular again LOL.

We had a buggy board and didn't like it at all. I found it awkward to push around, like my arms were always too short.

For the money, I suggest purchasing a cheap or used joovy or sit n stand stroller. We replaced our buggy board with a Joovy and love it.

about the sit-n-stands. How tall is the back of the seat. They don't look tall enough for my 3 1/2 to lay her head on if she falls asleep. Anyone found this to be a problem with the sit-n-stands??
