Anyone try the Carousel Inn RECENTLY?

I have been getting mixed reviews on the Carousel Inn.
I am in need of a suite hotel.
I want to be within walking distance, but some of the hotels look a bit scary.
The Carousel's website said that they recently refubished.
Has anyone been since then?

You will get mixed reviews on almost any place you look into. Just seems that everyone has different opinions and different views.

I have reservations for March & April.

It looks good from the photos on their website.

and it was great. Nice and clean. Right across from the entrance.

We stayed there last month. It is a very nice property and is owned by the same corp. as Park Inn. Nice room with microwave, fridge and very clean. Complimentary continental breakfast is nice...muffins, croissants, danishes and coffee and lemonade are free. It is less than a 5 minute walk to the gates of DL and DCA! We sometimes walk back to the room to take a break or to bring back souvenirs that we don't want to put in a locker.
