I came back last Fri from my 1st ever solo trip and I loved it:banana:
I loved RR when my BF and I went in October and I thought it would be a good place to relax w/a beer and an appetizer..I figured everyone would be too busy listening to the band and drinking to notice a woman alone...Well, this was the only place the whole trip I felt uncomfortable...
There were these 2 drunk guys circling my table...No big deal, I can handle drunk flirts...I switched my promise ring to my wedding finger so no one would think I was looking for anything:rotfl:
I got a lot of strange looks from people...The waiter was very nice, but kept calling be hon..Couldn't figure out if he was being flirtatious or patronizing...
And when I was signing the bill, a group of about 5 or 6 guys came in, one of them had the nerve to approach me and say rudely ''are you almost done, we want your table'...He was awful...You know darn well, if I had a friend or my BF with me he would never have done this..So I decided to sip my beer verrrry slowllly and then sip the rest of my water as well..:rotfl: Figured maybe they'd give up and I'd give my table to some nice couple waiting...But alas, they ended up w.my table...I just gave the guy a dirty look and left..
Just wanted to share my experience, I still love the plac and will return, maybe not alone, however.
Anyone else gone there alone?

Haven't went alone, but if I did, I would sit at the bar and order my appetizers/meal right there. The bartenders like to talk and all are very nice.

As far as the rude people in the restaurant, you can get that anywhere, lol.
We don't hurry for anyone.

Like you said, RR is fantastic..so definately go again!

Hi!

Went solo to RR on my 2005 MouseFest trip but don't remember the exact date. May have been December 3. I didn't get any strange looks or rude comments, but the food (a tomato soup for starters, the lamb shank for the main entree and the bread pudding for dessert) was excellent.

I went alone once. It wasn't as bad as yours. I didn't have a ring on so it was a little weird. But a guy bought me a beer so there was an upside.

I went alone during a Mousefest trip also. It might have been 2005. It was a pleasant evening so I sat at one of the outside tables. Very nice meal!! Nobody bothered me either.
