Anyone try Jergen's Natural Glow?

I'm glad I asked!! Oh well, I guess I'll just go as me, in all my pale glory!!

I am very fair and it works great for me. To avoid streaks, make sure you are well-exfoliated before applying, and rub it in generously and evenly. I have never gotten streaks with this product (unlike many other sunless tanners). I agree it has the same smell as others (it's the scent of the product reacting with your skin to create the color) but it's not as strong as most other sunless tanners. I highly recommend it!

I hope this question doesn't seem crazy. Does the smell wash off? I mean if you were to use the lotion at night and then shower in the morning would that take away the smell or does it just stay with you?

No - it goes away. Just like any scented lotion would.

To me Jergen's Natural Glow smells like a regular self tanner does. I got the light color one and unless you are snow white I would suggest getting the darker shade. It did nothing on me and I consider myself with fair complexion. Other then that I liked it enough to use it again, now that you reminded me about it I will pick some up the next time I’m at Walmart.

I tried the Jergen's one last year - hated the smell - chucked the bottle.

I bought the Dove "energy glow" one last week. I thought "all dove smells like Dove - this shouldn't have the smell"
well - out of the bottle it doesn't...but then it hits ya later.
So this is another "apply at night and sleep through the funk" lotions.

I've used it 3 times...every other or every 3rd day. I actually notice some color. (doesn't really look orange to me...but I think I may need a second opinion) No - not 'brown'...as it'll never happen...but some color. I have a medium skin tone - but I bought the one for "fair" tones...as I thought it would turn me less orange. heheh

The smell...well, once your nose is trained to that self-tanner smell...I swear I can smell it all day no matter how much I wash/put on other lotions. But that really could just be my nose.

I love my Jergers Natural Glow!
I am medium skinned and I have always had a "tan" look all year long. Well, until the last few years when I have been more conscious on the suns effect. Natural Glow to the rescue. Works fantastic. Never had any streaks. It is more a lotion than a tanner product in consistency so it is a gradual kind of thing so no weird discoloration.
The smell was nice at first and now - not so great. I just put it on at night and the smell is gone in the morning. I also use the original formula for my face and have never had a problem. I would not pay extra for the new face product unless you specifically had a problem before.
I buy in bulk because I am afraid it will be hard to find like last year.

I say to give it a try.

I tried Natural Glow last night for the first time. Well, it will be my last! First off, the odor, I stunk all last night. My husband didn't know that I had used it, asked "wow honey were you working out or something, because you smell like BO." Than, this morning I noticed all the streaking. I have used self tanners in the past, and know that you really need to blend it well, so I don't know what could've gone wrong. And to add insult to injury, my skin is a lovely shade of pale orange! I thought the tanning was a gradual process? This makes no sense to me, since I have light-olive skin, and chose the medium. Well, looks like i'm still on the market for a good self tanner.

I used it last spring/summer and liked it. The smell is kind of gross but I put it on before bed and then shower in the morning so I only stink for DH :woohoo: Ha, dual purpose-gets me tan and keeps DH away, lol!!!
