Anyone tried the poutine at Le Cellier?

Has anyone tried them? Any good? Authentic?

I used to live in Toronto and love poutine! So I'm hoping the Le Celliet ones are all good but I haven't heard any reviews or seen any pics.......

I've seen review float around from time to time. From what I can tell, it has gotten more authentic and now squeaky.

That does not look like real poutine. Poutine should have cheese curds not cheese slices.

What's with the orange cheese? I'm with gilsan, that doesn't look like real poutine. I'm very disappointed. I'll accept mozzerella on my poutine instead of curds and still call it poutine, but that's as far as I go.

The bloody ceasar I got at LeCellier was quite tasty but I'm glad I skipped the poutine when we went.

We had the poutine in May, and although it was good, it wasn't cheese curds. It was definitely either sliced or shredded yellow cheddar (I couldn't really tell since it was melted by the time it got to the table).

Now I'm nervous. I can't find the post that I thought said they had shifted to a more authentic recipe.

Has anybody been recently to confirm? Also, isn't there another restaurant at WDW that serves fried curds? With Disney shifting to bulk purchasing, is there any reason not to get more bulk curd to resolve the Poutine Crisis?

Fried curds? Now that's something I'd go out of my way to get. If you find out where it was, PLEASE share!!! OMG I'm drolling on my keyboard. LOL

Ewww.. that is not poutine. Nobody here would even attempt to call that poutine and try and get away with it.

Hopefully they have changed it to a better recipe... heck even just shreded mozarella cheese is better than whatever is in that picture!

Liberty Tree Tavern has fried cheese curds on their lunch menu - it's in the Tavern Fried Cheese appy - curds and mozzerella sticks. I love a good mozzerella stick but the fried curds kicked *** all over the mozzerella!!!!!

Yea, that' not Poutine. That's cheese fries with a side of gravy.

I've only had Poutine in Montreal but I thought it was great. Squeaky cheese is needed for real Poutine.

Was at LeCellier a couple of weeks ago and discussed menu items with the CMs at the check in area. One was fairly new and said she was shocked that they were calling it poutine since it had just cheddar cheese. Two CMs said NOT near authentic!

Best Poutine I ever had was in North Bay, Ontario, by Lake Nippising. That being said, Disney hasn't gotten it too authentic here.

That first one doesn't even look good enough to be called cheese fries. What is the cheese on top? American Cheese? Cheese Whiz? That looks nasty. Le Cellier is suppose to be a 2 credit restraunt next year. Glad I get to finally try it this year with one credit, I don't think I would waste my credits on that kind of mess. I hope everything else looks and tastes better than that.

Disney Dad Canada if you ever figure out the points let me know. From one WW member to another I would love to have it again if I knew the points. Even if I only eat half a serving. Only if they start serving the real thing though. My DH grew up next to the VT/NH/Quebec border and we used to get it all the time when visiting family up there. The best I have ever had was in a little place outside of Quebec City. Even DH said so and he grew up on the stuff. I have never managed to try Le Celliar but I will if the can manage the real thing.
