Anyone "too excited to sleep" in WDW?

Last time we went to WDW, DH had a hard time sleeping at night. He said it was because he was too excited about being at WDW. I've never heard of that-once you're there, if you're busy all day, you should be tired enough to sleep. It was very quiet where we stayed, so that wasn't keeping him awake. And it wasn't the hotel "strangeness"-he travels alot for work, so he's spent many a night in a hotel. He just said he gets "too excited to sleep", always afraid he's missing out on fun time. Does this make any sense? Anyone else like that?

I feel exactly the same as your DH! WDW is so exciting to me, no matter how many times I go, that I can barely sleep at all when I'm there! I want to do everything and see everything and squeeze all the fun possible into every single minute, that sleeping hardly enters the agenda. I wish they had a 24-hour cafe/arcade for sleepless grown-ups...it drives DH & DD crazy to have me tossing and turning or prowling the hotel room half the night!

Thanks so much-at least now I know I'm not the only one being driven crazy by this!

I'm alwasy too excited to sleep the night before we leave. Once there we all sleep cause we're always worn out at the end of the day.

Same here. After all that walking and all that excitement we are ready for some sleep. Although I find I wake up much earlier than normal cause I can't wait to start my day and get back out there.

I am usually so tired in the evening, I am snoring before I hit the pillow.

I normally have no problem going to sleep but if I wake for anythign and it is even remotly close to being morning then I am up getting ready. The first time I went to Disney with my DF I think we got to the MK parking lot at like 7:30am lol. He was not too happy to be sitting there waiting for an hour so we could get on the monorail etc. I say just have him take a tylenol pm or something.

My dh is the same way. He starts thinking of all the stuff we'll be doing the next day and gets himself all worked up. It's pretty funny.

I am too exhausted. I sleep like a log. The walking wears me out. I am dead to the world till the wake up call.
