We just made reservations. I think that we are going to do the Expedition Everest Challenge.

We were going to go later because of the musical groups, but it ended up being Columbus weekend which we decided to avoid.

Hey Kansas neighbors (we're from Salina), we plan on doing Expedition Everest, maybe we'll see you there.

Another book at exactly 9 AM at the 11 month window. This will be our 6th F & W Festival but our first trip "Home" to the BCV. We bought just so we could have a 2 bedroom at the BCV for F & W.
This year we are bringing adult DS and his girlfriend. This will be her first trip and we are all excited to show her the Disney that we love.

This will be our 1st FW and our very 1st trip as new DVC members at BLT. Our DD was a CM for last years FW and said that, the Halloween deco and the smaller crowds make it the perfect time to go to WDW. See you all on opening day of FW. Can't wait!!!

I have been going every year for since for the last 6 years. I'm trying to decide if I want to bother this year because I was really disappointed in all the cutbacks & venue rearranging that occured last year. I'm seriously considering skipping this year in hopes that when I do go back it will become magical in my eyes again. I found the whole seminar set up to be too stressful last year because they just can't seem to figure out how to get it right. After 13 years you would think that they would be improving rather than moving backwards. With all the layoffs & early/forced retirements at WDW this year I don't see much hope that things will be any better than they were last year.

As I understand it Steve gets his info from other sources such as the band's webpage, some public information on bookings etc....

So he may not have "found" the bands yet!

We're getting to go twice. The first time will be Sept 26 & 27 when we come back to BWV after our 7 Night Western on the Magic. Then in October we're coming back down staying at the AKV and doing the TOT 5k. So we'll hit F&W on Friday night when we get into town and Sunday before we leave again. This will be our 3rd year.

We kind of decided last minute (yesterday!) and booked the first 2 nights at AKV - Jambo, Savannah View and the following 3 nights at BWV - preferred view. I would rather have BW view or Standard view for those nights but I was thrilled to get BWV, period!! We are waitlisted for the first 2 nights, fingers crossed! Even if the waitlist doesn't work out, I am excited for AKV.

Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!! This will be our first DVC trip!

Yes! Thanks so much for posting this. I get to see Sister Sledge while I'm there, hopefully singing one of my favorite songs "We are Family". That song always reminds me of the scene from "The Birdcage" with Robin Williams, and makes me laugh. Should be fun!

We'll be there Oct 2-11. Our 6th F&W, but our first visit home. We bought BLT during F&W last year. Booked our flight in December '08, but of course couldn't book BLT until it opened. It took me 2 1/2 hours to get through but we got a MK view Studio.

I noticed the cutbacks last year also, but we still love it.

Booked SSR at eleven months, switched to BCV at seven months (wanted to be at an Epcot resort.) This will be our third year at F&WF. We love it. Next year we're going alone (not taking any of our kids and their families); just us.

We are going for a couples trip with three other couples for a long weekend Oct 2-6! We love food and wine and have gone every year with our kids. We talked our other friends into going with us for our couples trip. Got BCV at seven months....so excited! We have a kids trip in July but so looking forward to our couples only trip in Oct. Going to do a Segway tour too!!

Us too! Except ours starts with another couple at VB for the weekend of Sept 25th, then DH & I are checking into OKW for 4 nights from the 27th to Oct 1st. THEN....coming back again with the whole family Nov 4th to 10th.
