I made reservations on Expedia to stay at Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel in California from March 11 to 18. The hotel was quoting me over two hundred dollars a night. I'm hoping for AP rates, but went ahead and booked on Expedia for 165 a night. I can cancel that reservation for 25 bucks if something spectacular comes up. Now Disney has the promotion of if you stay for over 4 nights you get a $150.00 gift card. I don't know if that applies to Expedia guests, so I looked up my nights again. For the Grand and for the Disneyland Hotel, Expedia says that it includes the gift card. For the PPH it does not. Was that an oversight? If it is an oversight, does Disneyland give that giftcard to everyone that has booked the four nights, or does it have to be through their reservations or through specially marked rates on Expedia? So now I don' t know if I look on Expedia and it says that it includes the 150 gift card, do I pay the 25 dollar cancellation fee and rebook for the same fee as the gift card, or would I get it anyway?
Sorry for rambling. I put this on the Community board because it's not really about Disneyland----more about the Disney procedures and Expedia. Thank you!
