We are going to Disney in April and have three children 8,7,5. I told the reservation agent that we have two kids because I didn't want to have to get a suite or two rooms. All three kids can fit in the queen bed together and I was told that "Mickey doesn't do bedroom checks". Just curious if anyone else has done this.

I haven't but must admit I have thought about it. The one thing that stops me is the park passes. If there are only 4 in the room, you won't be able to get in the parks for the emh or am I wrong?

For what it's worth, you can fit 5 into a room at POR-- they have trundle beds in some rooms.

You could also fit 5 at almost any of the Luxury hotels.

well....unless you're staying at a deluxe, the beds are only double size, In the moderate price range- Port Orleans has a section with the same price but has a trundle bed for the 3rd child.

Ummm, no. I tend to be a stickler for following the rules. Plus, you will not be able to take advantage of any extra magic hours as everyone has to show a room key in order to get in, even the little ones. So you loose that perk of staying on-site. And you will not be able to sign up for the dining plan, if that interests you at all. And God forbid there is a fire, and Disney thinks they only need to look for 2 kids, not 3.

Wait, I'm confused. What resort are you staying at? Only the deluxe resorts have queen beds, and most of them allow 3 kids in a room.

Really, if it is a problem, you should follow the rules. If every family snuck in an extra body there would be a big strain on the services. Busses would be packed, the pools would be packed, the restaurants would be nuts. It is not ok for you to not follow the rules, because then it would be ok for everyone to not follow the rules. And then their would be a big mess!

It could be a problem if you're using the Magical Express - heads are counted when you show your vouchers to board.

The rule on occupancy has been stated. You might want to consider a family suite at All Star Music. You won't be able to take advantage of the extra park hours as others have been mentioned.
