Also when I was in high school, I found out that my mother had two babies that were live births and lived for one and two days. They would have been babies 2 & 3, and would have been 5 & 6 yrs older than me, I am living child #4. She had bought a new wallet and wanted me to move all of her stuff to her new wallet; I found the obituaries that she carried in her wallet. 
I have never forgotten that and when I became a mother myself, I just became very sensitive to that part of her life. Wow, it just floors me.
