I swear I'm too young to have the medical problems I have. I bring them on myself from stressing (Migraines, and now ulcers). I'm only 29! I went to the doctor last week with stomache issues. I was having stomache pain and cramping. I thought it was gas. I had no appetite (and I am definitely an eater). When I did eat I immediately felt queesy, too full, would burp (food might come back up). I had pain so intense one night I was up till 3:30am doubled over. Doc thinks it's likely an ulcer (maybe gall bladder, but I have no other gall bladderish symptoms). I am under tremendous stress. Financially our business is in the pits. Today I am petrified we are going to get hit with more bad business news and my stomache is cramping again. Doctor prescribed Aciphex and wants me on it for a week to see if my appetite comes back and the symptoms subside. If not, she's sending me to a GI specialist for an ultrasound and maybe an endoscopy. I of course am worried it's cancer (it's always cancer for me...I'm a hypochondriac too remember...). She also thinks I have a spastic colon! I have this weird pain in my right side below my left rib cage (right where your descending? colon would be) it comes and goes. It's probably all from stress...
Anyone else have ulcers? I don't even know what I should eat.
