I subscribe but I cannot find my issue that rates washing machines and dryers. I am positive they had an issue in the last 7 months that addressed this. Does anyone keep these? I need to purchase a new set and would like to review this first. Thanks

I may be wrong but I believe if you are a subscriber you can signin online and see everything. Try it. If you've never been on their site before you will have to register. hth

You, as a subscriber, should have full access to the information on consumerreports.com, if nobody responds.

I tried that you must pay an extra $20 to access online. That is the discount for magazine subscribers. Kinda stinks huh?

Seriously? I was actually just thinking about subscribing to CR, but I won't bother if I don't have free online access.

CR accepts no advertising of any type so that is probably why you have to pay for their online site even if you subscribe.

We love CR. It seems an issue arrives in my mailbox right before I need to make a big purchase (like when we were redoing our kitchen and the kitchen issue just came out).

karenos;)

There are basically two different CR subscriptions...magazine only, or magazine plus online. My father purchased the magazine subscription for me so I have that, but the online is way better because it gets updated. My brother-in-law has the online subscription so I use his login when I need info on a specific category. If I have time in a little bit, I can PM you the info you are looking for.

Thanks sent you a PM

There is an online-only subscription.

However, your local library probably has a magazine subscription and you could find back issues there.
