Anyone still watching Nip/Tuck?

Did anyone read the show summary for tonight.. something about Christian convinces the detective that Quentin is a suspect.. Hmmm

Ooh, that stinks. Are you going to be able to keep away from this thread tonight or are you going to look for spoilers?

I just downloaded and watched last week's episode - I love the internet!!! I thought the preview for next week (well tonight) was really something...interesting that they didn't show Kimber. I can't wait until somebody uploads the finale so I can watch it! There's no way I could stay away from finding out who the Carver is for a whole 3 weeks.

Ok Sandy, I'm gonna have to talk about it. So go away if you don't want to know......

I'm sorry, but I just don't buy it. I said all along I wouldn't buy Quentin because he was living in Atlanta. You can't just erase that by saying he had to go to the place with all the beautiful people. And the stupid twist. Why even bring Liz in as a suspect if she knew who it was all along? What was the point of that? And why did Kit looked all surprised about Quentin's um lack of substance. Seriously, that was all for the camera and no one else. Sorry, not buying it--very disappointed.

I did feel so bad for Kimber though. And I wonder what's up with Julia's baby? They didn't ever say, did they? And the psycho nazi dad was a bit much too.

The whole psycho nazi dad thing was to much for me. I was so hoping to see the carver take of the mask and it be JULIA

I kind of thought Quentin was going to end up being the Carver, but I kept second-guessing myself because I thought it was way too obvious. My only complaint is that the whole thing really had no resolution. I mean, what was the point of the storyline if Kit was going to go around accusing everyone and then run in and shoot Quentin before anything even happened to Christian and Sean? It makes the whole storyline pointless, IMO.

And the Nazi dad thing was just...wow. I never thought I'd see a castration on TV, but leave it to this show.

I like that Sean and Julia are going to try to fix their kids and maybe even their relationship. But what's wrong with the new baby?!?!

Ughhh, it better not be 9 months until next season!

I cant believe I left work early for this episode. I think they took it a bit too far by having both Dr.s and Matt going through the same thing at the same time. They should have come up with a different story line somewhere. And hello -nobody notices when the carver who they have been after for so long can just get up and walk away.Did no one check his pulse. :sad2:

:earseek: I am sleeping with the lights on tonight! I wonder what airel is going to do about her whacko dad?

Yes, ho hum at its best.

You would notice first that with Quentin being the Carver there are inconsistencies...

First off, he was in Atlanta with the first two victims. Then he said Gainesville, which one? Why bother dragging in Christian and Liz if they knew they weren't the Carver? Why also did Kit make a big show about him not having a male part? She already knew about it. Also, when Quentin was shot and stuck in the autopsy room--don't CSI or coroners understand if people are really dead? How long was he in the morgue still alive? How come no one noticed that two alive people were wandering out fo the morgue? Where were the police in uniform or mourge techs in that scene? It was pretty lame.

And I would think that Matt wouldn't get into the car with Ariel after the scene in the mall. He's smarter than that.

Does anyone know if Julia's mother is really dead? They had that scene where the mother was back in the apartment after the plane crash, but never again mentioned it. I don't understand if it was Julias imagination, or what. :confused3 I was hoping that somewhere in the last couple of episodes it would address that situation. I didn't see anywhere where the kids were notified that their grandmother died, so, did Julia really kill some other poor lady?

Yes, I noticed all those as well. That just makes me mad. And what was their motive? She gave a motive, but that ended up being false, so what was the point then?

Who is the father of Julia's baby?
Sean is the father.

Does anyone know if Julia's mother is really dead? ....... so, did Julia really kill some other poor lady?
Nothing has been said, so I guess we are to assume that she really is alive. Maybe the writers didn't give us enough credit to think that she was having a hallucination. They didn't at all seem sad about having xmas without their grandmother. And I wouldn't really say that Julia killed some poor lady. I really think she did the right thing in that situation. I'm sure she would have died anyway and she would have just been in a lot of pain.

we were so disappointed...all the stupidity with kit and quentin. do all the psychos in this show just flee to other countries (hey maybe they will hook up with ava-that would be a fun threesome  ).

we used to love this show-the writing in the first season was excellent, now there are just too many stupid plot lines and worthless characters. i also get peeved that they put scenes in the "previously on nip/tuck" portion that were never aired in previous episodes (and since we tivo and sometimes watch 2 weeks at a time it's overly apparant).

i'de like to know whatever happend to the tatooed drug cartel guy (that blackmailed them into removing the heroin implants and doing the organ removals)-i swear i have never missed an episode and still cannot figure out what happend with him. can someone fill me in?

last nights episode seemed like an attempt to clean up some loose ends-they left with basicly only 2 ongoing issues-(1) julia's baby, and (2) mattie's encounter (but hey-he's never been held accountable for the girl he ran over, the friend he sent to the psych ward/prision...so why should anything come of this situation?). we kind of wondered if maybe there is some question about the show or some of the main characters returning for another season (they may have been obligated with a set number of years contractualy that is now up for renewal)-there was'nt any big pending plot line that would disappoint viewers if the show or a specific character failed to return.

Agree, it was pretty lame and inconsistent.
That said, I would kill to see the outtakes from this episode. The look on Quentin's face everytime he had to exclaim "I was born without a 'male anatomy'" was priceless. He and the rest of the cast looked like they were going to bust out laughing.

In the first season the last episode ended where they made a deal with the drug lord that if they changed his face so he could get out of the country he promised to never bother then again. Well they changed his face to the second most wanted guy on the FBI list and he was arrested at the airport when trying to leave the country. Now that had an ending that I didnt expect -Not like this one.

Boo is right. I can't believe I stayed up for that.

I don't think I'll be watching next season if this is the best they can do.

my dvr went out before the show ended! What happened at the house with Sean and Julia?? She was about to tell him something about the baby and then my dvr went out:( What happened??????

Highlight to read spoiler:

She didn't tell him anything about the baby, just that she had put the Deed to the house in both their names, but didn't want to live there unless he'd live there with her.

Sorry, folks, but this season finale really sucked. It was heading towards a very very horrible cliff-hanger, and then it turned into a Denny's parking lots for some late-night snacks. :rolleyes2 It's enough to have me give up on the show next year.

Did you perhaps tivo that episode? I remember watching that and it cut off the last few minutes of the show. I had to go online to find out what happened to him. Never did actually see it--even in reruns. That was a fantastic ending though.
