At work yes. I work at a TV station and there are 40 monitors in each of our control rooms, 38 in each are black and white. About the same at the other TV station I worked at 5 years ago. Most of those are 9", and still work, and to replace them with newer color monitors would require them to build all new cabinets since new TV's at 16x9 and they wouldn't fit in the space available.
At home, no, I took my 9" Panasonic B & W that I bought in 1975 and took to college, my Sony Watchman with a 2" screen, and a Sanyo handheld 2" to an e-waste event about 6 months ago. There was no way to hook up a converter box to the little TV's, and I haven't used the Panasonic in years, so got ride of them.
