Anyone stayed in Sunset Lakes

im considering booking a villa in sunset lakes? Has anyone stayed here can let me know what its like

We haven't stayed there yet. But that's where we booked for Feb '09. Have you searched for threads? There are quite a few discussions about this community. It may make your decision easier. The discussions helped us.

We stayed there when we booked our first vacation home with Florida Leisure. It's a nice quiet community and we enjoyed it a lot. There are houses on two lakes and houses on conservation... there's also a few that aren't so good that back up to each other.

The location is pretty much perfect and we could get to Disney very quickly going along Funie Steed rather than 192.

We now stay on the east side of town as we have found the perfect house for us, so hope the one you have found works out well for you.

Hi, we stay here for 3 months and love it...nice gated entrance with code...not maximum security but nice...
Houses are very close to each other as you would expect in a rental community. Nice feature is the 3 sliding glass doors to the patio on many of the homes...really opens up the living area to the pool and patio. Most baths have tubs, not showers in the master, but they are more oval and pretty good room.
Location is very nice and private, but a short drive to Disney compared to many other housing developements. Interesting is that this is one of the very few developements that has not seen a big dip in house values.

Not sure if you are looking at one or two story. We are familiar with one story homes. We like the single family room and not a separate living room that never gets used, but takes away from the family room size. Nice open plan for kitchen, dining and family room...
I would check prices directly from owners and see what you get compared to going through a management booking company...most of us here on the Dis feel this is a better option for price and choice...
