Anyone stayed at Universal Hotels and commuted to Disney?

Hey guys...

We've fallen in love with the kid's suites at Hard Rock Hotel at Universal and wanted to know if any of you have based yourselves at a Universal Hotel and travelled TO Disney several days on your trip.

We plan on having a rental car and would love some insight into the drive and distance between the two places.

We haven't yet, but we've thought about it. There's a few who post on the Universal board here that have commuted to WDW. You may have better luck, if you ask there.
