It's at 8100 Lake Dr., just "around the corner" from DD, according to the ressie clerk I spoke with...the reg. rate on a Suite was $150-170, but I got a great govt. employee rate of only $99! I'm so excited...but can't find many pics online...I understand we get free breakfast in the mornings, very important with a 2 year old and a 6 year old picky eaters! Also supposedly has a really awesome pool. Just wanted to see if anyone has stayed there and what your experience was like. Thanks!

You will absolutely love this hotel! We've stayed at this Embassy Suites several times and have always enjoyed it. The breakfast buffet is a tremendous plus. They set out a nice assortment of breads, bagels, danishes, and fresh fruit for quick breakfasts. There is also a hot serving line that has pancakes, french toast, cooked to order eggs/omelettes, bacon sausage, and oatmeal. There are milk, juices, teas and coffee for beverages. Even for the pickiest eaters, there is something to eat. There is also cold cereal availble (corn flakes, fruit loops, etc).

In the evenings, they have a "managers hosted" happy hour with popcorn, chexmix, beer, wine, and soft drinks. We've only made it back from the parks a couple of times for this but it was a nice extra.

If you haven't stayed at one, each suite is has a separate bedroom and living room. All of the suites are equipped with two televisions, a small refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker, two telephones with data ports and a dining table. The bedroom may be reserved with either one King bed or two Doubles, and the living room has a foldout sleeper sofa.

You can't miss seeing the hotel from I-4 west. It is on the right before the 535 exit. You'll go right pass the Crossroads shopping center, take the next right on Palm Parkway, and go the way to the end and make a last right to the hotel. You've got a terrific rate at $99 for a suite! You'll be very happy.

Oh boy, thank you Steve! I'm REALLY excited now!

One more question: did you try to shuttle to the parks? I was curious how often they went, how efficient they were.

I have stayed there many times! it's excellent!
$99.00 is a great rate, the best I have ever gotten was $109.00 off season. Steve really described everything for you. The only thing I would add is the pool is not awesome, I don't want you to expect this great pool. It's large & part of it is indoors, but it's just a pool. Also some of the rooms are around the pool and are backed up to the highway, they can be noisy. I like to ask for my room to be in the main building, just easier to get to everything.
Have a great time! :)

We had a great time here. We liked the indoor/outdoor pool. The chef at breakfast could make Mickey-shaped pancakes for our daughter. The best part was the extra large room. We didn't use the shuttle. We just find it easier to take our car.

We have always had a rental car and when staying off site, also prefer the ease of self parking. I think we used Embassy's shuttle once, a few years ago. At that time, I believe that they dropped off/picked up at the Ticket Transportation Center with guests transferring there for Disney buses/monorails/boats for specific theme parks.

Not really all that convenient, especially with tired little ones at the end of the day. I'm not sure if that system is still in place, hopefully someone who has used the bus more recently will respond.

Hope this helped, Steve

We just returned from a stay at Embassy Suites Jamaican Court. It was a nice hotel and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were courteous. The only thing we did not think was great was the swimming pool. It was not too large and because it was both indoor and outdoor with a plastic curtain dividing the two you could only see your child if they stayed in the half you were in. We were only in it one day as it was often too crowded. For us that was not too bad as our stay was for Discovery Cove and Sea world both water related.

We would definitely stay here again. We got a great deal through Expedia.com of a little over $100 per night - worth it for the one bedroom suite with a free roll away bed.
