Anyone stayed at Monumental Movieland?

Has anyone stayed at Monumental Movieland on I Drive? My husband and I don't drive so we chose this hotel for the free shuttles to the parks. Universal is a mile away so we can walk it but we were wondering what the Disney shuttle was like. Failing that, does anyone know what a taxi would cost?

I do not know about the hotel but we took a taxi from the Animal Kingdom lodge to the Beach club and it was $12 not including tip. It is 5 miles between those two resorts. From Monumental to the Magic Kingdom it is 17 miles. So it is perhaps $30 or so each way.

stayed there 3 years ago. Not the greatest but not a dive either. rooms are clean.
