Anyone stayed at Hyatt MCO the night before their cruise?

Just wondering what time you headed downstairs for your transfers to the ship. Also, last time we cruised we met up with a DCL rep after we made it from the terminal to the main airport building (not sure what its called). Should we try to find the DCL rep in the same place as last time or go right down to the transfer bus?

yea - I would like to know all the details - I am doing Hyatt day before my cruise as well :):):)

When you check in, they will give you a flyer with all the details, we met them around 9:00 if I remember correctly. They have an area just to the right of the main desk (as you are looking at it) for you to sign in with the DCL folk.

Hope this helps.

The Hyatt was great. When we check in on Friday night we told the desk fella that we were with DCL and he gave us a nice letter with detailed instructions for check-in the next day.

About 9am Saturday:
We could have left our luggage right outside our room in the morning for pick-up and delivery to the ship but DH wasn't comfortable with that so we wheeled them down to the bell-hop desk where they took our luggage and checked us off their list. Check-in for DCL is right next to the lobby and didn't begin till 10 or so. We had a yummy buffet breakfast at the Hyatt before we checked in. Only one member of your party needs to stand in line for bus assignment. They had movies running in one of the conference/banquet rooms. (DS "there are tons of kids in there") We sat in some comfy chairs until our group was called. We marched in an orderly Mickey way to our bus. Once loaded there was a DCL rep giving us tips, of course we watched a DCL video and then a few cartoons.

We were at the port by noon. VERY smooth. My family likes the bus. Adds to the character of the trip.

Hope this helps.

The HYATT can't be beat especially if your plane is arriving late or if you have a long flight into MCO. Ours was supposed to get in just after midnight but actually arrived at 3:30 AM :sad2: Sooo glad we booked the Hyatt since it was the shortest distance between the plane and a BED.

We found the pick up the next morning to be totally painless and the bus ride with the videos starts the vacation off just right.
