I'm looking for a hotel deal for the first part of June and that is the only place I've found with a good deal. Just wondering what people think of it.

Also, is it likely that there are going to be more and or better deals the closer to the dates? I'm still going to be keeping an eye on Hojos but as of now it only has one of the nights I need with the entertainment rate. Most everything I am seeing is about $100 or more for a double queen room and I really don't want to pay that much.

My friend from out of town stayed at the Del Sol last year in July. She refused to pay for a DLR hotel for just one night, but she and her mom and son needed a close, clean hotel that was cheap (under $100 per night), that was available on VERY short notice - and Del Sol fit the bill. She was initially looking at staying at the Quality Inn, which was even cheaper, but I asked the good people here on the DIS about QI and fortunately, was able to stop my friend before she booked a room there!! So she said that the Del Sol was clean and very basic. Nothing snazzy. No bugs! The room was a decent size. There was a complimentary breakfast in the morning, which they took advantage of, and that was about it. It wasn't much more than a clean place to sleep and get some free pastries and coffee in the morning, but it suited their needs on short notice and it was inexpensive.

We stayed at Del Sol last June for 2 nights. And I have to say they have the nicest most accomadating staff I've ever encountered. We were comming in very early in the morning. Since my husband had got home from work that day at 7:30a.m. I asked the hotel if he would be able to get into a room at 11am when we got in to anaheim. Now I know the rooms are not available until 3pm. But they made an exception and had the room ready at 11am so my husband could get in and go to sleep. They were very kind. The rooms were very clean, and quiet. I have to admit the rooms are pretty large as well. We had no problems and would definalty stay again.

I'm so torn cause it's in the right location and has the right price but reviews are so mixed on it. I think I just need to be patient for a bit longer and see what shows up. Thanks.

Aaaarrrgggg!!! I have spent most of today looking at hotels and just can't find anything else that fits my requirements. I think I need to just back off for a bit but I can't make myself. I was going to do HoJo's but they only have availability for the first three days no matter what rate. I'm thinking about booking them for the first 2 days and moving on the Saturday which we are blocked on anyhow. But the question is move to where?

For all you people that have been doing this for years is there likely to be better hotel deals for June? Will there just not be since it is the beginning of summer? I need help! There are several hotels that no longer have availability for part of my dates and I am worried about losing out on getting anything.
