Anyone stayed at Celebration Hotel ????

We're staying Tues 4-7 for 3 nights & planning on spending one day emjoying the resort & area & the other 2 days at SW. we just wanted a relaxing hotel since the parks are going to be hectic.

My questions for anyone that has stayed there is there only valet parking ? How is the resort ? Do all the rooms have balconies ? Is it relaxing, kid friendly ? Any recommendations would be appreciated. My DH, DS 6 & myself

If a relaxing atmosphere is important, then the Celebration hotel definitely fits that description. Its the only hotel I've ever known that has you sit down at check in (at least they used to). Not sure if I would use the words "kid friendly" to describe it, but then again I'm sure a lot of kids stay there because of the location, and they do cater to the theme parkers by offering a Disney shuttle. Cant recall if its valet only or not, but I would not be suprised if it is being that their sister hotel in downtown, the Grand Bohemian, is valet only. I would definitely suggest this hotel if you're looking for a nice getaway free from the stress of the other resorts. Granted, I may be biased being that I used to work for the Grand Bohemian
