How many minutes drive is it from DTD? MK?

What was the breakfast buffet like? What did they serve?

Would you stay there again? Rate it on scale of 1-10. Pros and cons??:yay:

Sure have. My wife and I had our wedding there 3 years ago. We only had breakfast on the day we were leaving. I don't remember much about it, which if you knew me, is a good thing. Similar to Hilton breakfasts. I think eggs to order and then standard breakfast buffet (cereals, muffins, bacon, sausage, pancakes, juices, etc.) is the arrangement. Sorry, I am kind of sketchy. It was a chaotic weekend.

It's a great hotel though. If I remember correctly, it was around 10 minutes to the WDW archway that greets you driving in.

The hotel itself is quite nice. The rooms are all what I call "executive" meaning they have a sitting area and the main thing I remember was that my wife appreciated the ample space in the bathroom for all her "stuff".
The beds are comfy, nice furniture and appointing. The pool area is nice and quiet. Lazy river seemed cool, though we didn't try it out.

The staff there is awesome, and the sports grill (David's?)serves very good food.
Convenient Publix & Walgreens/CVS right outside the gates.

I thought it was pretty convenient to WDW, and actually remarked to my wife that I wished we had just stayed there after I saw how short the drive was. Omni over a mod any day imo.

I would stay at Omni in a heartbeat if there was a good rate.

Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it. If we go to wdw, which we better decide soon, cuz i have to reserve dining, we'd stay there i guess. sounds great. thanks!!!!! 10 mins to wdw is great, mapquest says 39 mins to DTD. - can't be right. ?

Google maps says from 1500 Masters Blvd. to DTD, Pleasure Island = 20minutes.
http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=1500+Masters+Boulevard,+Kissimmee,+FL&daddr=%4028.370351,-81.518683&hl=en&ll=28.31496,-81.570053&spn=0.191925,0.41851&sll=28.3324,-81.593725&sspn=0.191894,0.41851&geocode=FXZFrwEdHoUi-ynz60bkN3rdiDFXUcxP_CnBfg%3BFa_lsAEdpR8k-w&mra=ls&t=m&z=12
I use Google's Free GPS Navigation and it's always accurate, so I tend to defer to their estimates over Mapquest most times.

I asked my wife if I was right about the ten minutes to the Disney World Welcome sign, and she said it seemed like 15 to her.

Either way, it seems reasonable to me compared to a 30 minute process to just get on a WDW bus and get moving out of the resort. That's kind of how I look at it when staying offsite.

We rent a house that is in the Champions Gate area and we can usually see this hotel as we are going to WDW. I think the last time I timed it to the WDW park entrance it was 17 minutes. That being said, it feels so much quicker than that. It is an easy shot up I-4. We always budget 30 minutes and NEVER use that amount of time, but if we want to be at the parking lot of WDW by 8 am, we would try to leave the house at 7:30. That 30 minutes factors loading 4 kids and all our stuff in the car, running back into the house because someone forgot something, waiting for my in-laws to get in their car....
