Anyone stay recently at Amerisuites Convention Ctr.? 8741 International Dr.?

We booked a pkg. deal and got Amerisuites Orlando Convention Center, the one on 8741 International Drive. I know it is a bit of a drive to Disney each day , probably closer to Universal, but we got a really good deal with airfare. Just wondered if it is really bad? Or has anyone stayed there recently and can tell us anything about it. Kind of also wondered what they serve for the breakfast?
We are going for our Anniversary mid October.

Just saw your post now after searching back a few pages for something.

DH, the kids and I stayed here about 6 years ago (probably not as recent a review as you'd like ). We got the room thru Priceline and were very happy with it. I'm not sure if you've ever stayed at an Amerisuites property before, but it is not a "true" suite, rather it has a half-wall (no door) separating the sleeping and living area. Not a problem for us, but thought I'd mention it.

Breakfast was make your own waffles, fresh fruit (apples, oranges and pears), cereal/milk and oatmeal. Not a gourmet meal, but we were happy to have it as it was something to fill our tummies before a day at the parks.
