? Anyone Stay Onsite For Ddp

I was wondering if anyone stays onsite for the DDP or add days to their stay onsite to enjoy the DDP? I stayed at WDW for the 1st time last year and really enjoyed it,but I enjoyed thr DDP even more. The problem is WDW resorts are so much more money than most offsite hotels ( I think I am a deluxe snob).However,I really do like having alot of my meals paid for in advance. So now as I plan my next trip I am planning where I want to eat and am trying to figure out how many nights I need to stay onsite. Am I crazy? Please tell me I am not alone !!

I'm sure you're not alone. As a matter of fact, I know of people who actually STAY off-site, but reserved on-site accommodations during the free dining period last year, just to get the free dining. They didn't even stay overnight in the rooms they reserved -- they just checked in, got their room keys (with Dining Plan credits), and that was it.
