they are next to some kind of empty space...mechanical room or ??
are these bad rooms...just checking
thanks

We have stayed in 333 that looks to be on the other side of that area. While i did not have the bedroom on that wall, my parents surely would have said something if there had been any noise or problems.

If I were guessing I would think they would have a service elevator in one of those areas that would go down to the first floor service area - garbage and laundry.

I stayed in #339,a dedicated studio, once, and I loved it. I've been trying to figure out how to request it again, but MS won't take "Woods view" as a request. I think that area was for storage of maid supplies (towels, shampoo, soap, etc.) and then on the other side, there was the ice machine and the trash. It was always quiet in the evening and so convenient from the studio to get ice or to drop off trash in the morning.

yeah I noticed they were dedicated studios...that peaked my interest...but I was hoping those were closets and not elevators...NOISE.
thanks for the input.

Ive stayed in 239 last May, don't know what the room next store is but I don't remember it being noisy. The fact that's in the middle of the building I would suspect that it may be a housekeeping room.
The view is of the woods which is quiet, and you would have limited view of Illuminations.

skelooch....have you stayed in any of the rooms facing the road/epcot?
are they noisy?

are there any studios we wouldn't like at BCV....noisy or ugly view?

We have 2 rooms, so we requested to be close to each other.

non-smoking is most important really....I see that the 4th fl is mostly smoking...will avoid that.

I just stayed in a 1BR 357 that was close to the road, had no problem with road noise, view of EPCOT not great, Illuminations blocked by trees.
I usually request rooms at the west end closest to the main elevators and BC lobby, but it is farthest from the parking lot if you will have a car and want to self park,( and closest to the bus stop if you don't) otherwise opt for valet parking. You can call valet before you leave the room and your car will be there when you get there, it's worth the $2-3 dollar tip.
I prefer the upper floors, I've never had a courtyard view don't think I would like that. If you're a people watcher the pool views, or courtyard are the best bet. The best view of Illuminations would be 222,322,422 the higher the better, and there's another studio directly across the hall 221,321,421 which would have a courtyard view. 206,212,306,312,406,412 are pool views and only a couple of doors apart.
It could be difficult to get 2 rooms close together, the villas are usually at capacity or close to it, good luck.

OK sounds like my guess was wrong! No elevator. (Do think they use the public elevator for trash and laundry removal? Ewwww! Maybe a garbage/laundry shute instead? )

We stayed in studio 540 last May on the 5th floor and had no problems at all. It was a great room!

We won't have a car, so close to parking is non-issue. I don't really care about the views....just don't want to look at cement. :)

we have been pretty lucky the last couple trips...we have been able to get studios close together. we put that as our 2nd request. no biggie if they can't do it.

It seems like the BCV rooms are all pretty decent. I do like the rooms closer to the BC because you are closer to the walkway to Epcot/boats, etc. :goodvibes
