Yes. We stayed in that room on the 14-night westbound repositioning cruise in May. That stateroom is right next to the lifeboats and a service area, and I found it EXTREMELY noisy. Fortunately I travel with heavy-duty earplugs!
There was a very loud hum (almost like an elevator) coming from the side where there is a service area. This went on intermittently, all day and all night.
Additionally, on some nights (I'm talking 2:00 or 3:00 am) there were very loud thumps on that same side, as if someone was banging on the wall (maybe someone carrying stuff through and hitting the wall?).
Last but not least, several times I was awakened by the sound of crew pressure-washing the deck below the lifeboats -- it was remarkably loud!
On the up side, 5122 is in a great location. It's very convenient to the elevators and on the same end of the ship as all the dining options. Plus you have only one neighbor -- and let's face it, if you had two neighbors with screaming babies or loud kids, that could be worse than the humming and thumping!
Just bring earplugs and you'll be fine. I recommend the silicone earplugs, which are more expensive than the foam, but block noise much better and are much more comfortable.
