We will be staying at the Windsor Palms Condo during my daughter's softball tounament. Has anyone had any experience with them? We had to book through the tournament itself (I guess it was through All-Star Vacation homes) which unnerved me to no end. We have never stayed off property so we don't know what to expect.

We stayed in Windsor Palms back in 2003 and we loved it. We actually stayed in two different villas that year and had a wonderful experience in each.

I'm not sure how many people are in your party but you will probably find the extra space of a condo very appealing....at least we have and we are only a family of 4. My DH will not go back to a standard hotel room when we visit Orlando.

Windsor Palms is an easy commute for you as well. It is close to Sherbeth Rd. which brings you right into AK.

The condos can vary with furnishings, etc. but you should have a kitchen, washer/dryer, etc. plus all of the ammenities you would find in a hotel room. I dont cook meals on vacation but I love the fridge for drinks, snacks, etc. and even having a microwave to re-heat take-out. You can pack less too if you want to use the washer/dryer. The nice thing is that they are there if you want to use them.

There are quite a few posters here who have enjoyed Windsor Palms. You should find many favorable reviews here. I hope you enjoy it.
