Anyone shopping at the Christmas Tree Shop?

I live in NJ and recently a Christmas Tree Shop opened near me. I figured, I didn't need ornaments or anything else for Christmas decorating yet, so I avoided it for a while.

Big mistake! It is not a store for Christmas items! It's like a bargain Bed, Bath & Beyond plus books, toys, food and drug store items.

This summer, I have found THE best deals there, like Coppertone and Banana Boat sunscreen for $2.99, a box of 60 Wet Naps for $1, toothbrushes 5 for $1, waistpacks (really cute colors) that are sturdy and actually fit my kids and are large enough for autograph books, snacks etc for $3.99, plus many (probably too many) items for decorating around the house and outside too.

I am pretty sure this is a chain, mostly in MA.

So, who else is shopping there and what deals have you gotten?

Oops, I meant to put this on the Budget Board. Any idea how to move it??

We have one about 2 hours from us, I always find great Disney things. I got
a really cute Minnie tin with cookies in it for 1.99, Disney princess markers for 1.99. They also had lots of Pooh crayons and bath stuff. LOVE this store!!!

The one that I went to is in Cherry Hill. But, I think there might be another one in North Jersey somewhere too.

did you go to the Cheesecake Factory first!!!! We are right here in Marlton.
I will have to head over there and see if I can find any Disney things for the plane. Did you notice any?? Where are you at??? :yay: :yay: :yay:

:sunny: I have been shopping at the Christmas Tree Shop for a few years now. We have one in Albany, NY as well as a newer one in Syracuse. My DD6 loves to go there. She pushes her own cart and fills it up with a mish mash of stuff that her Amma (my Mom LOL) ends up buying her. :goodvibes LOL Have fun!

Love the Christmas Tree Shop! We have a couple (45min-1hour) away. Well worth the trip. They started on Cape Cod.

I have been to the one in Paramus, NJ, it's great even for dog toys. pug:

I Love the Christmas Tree Shop... we have one (almost two years old) here in Syracuse, NY and I love going in and finding the BEST bargains!

I'm another Christmas Tree Shop girl and I'm close to Syracuse too. I have only been twice only because I tend to spend much too much money when I go :confused3

Totally agree!! I am going broke saving money there!!!!

Here in MA we take them for granted. Before our recent trip I got my 2 middle DDs (9 & 6) rolling duffle bags. They were great quality, by Totes. Not made specifically for children, the telescoping handle has 2 different height adjustments. Cost: $9.99. They came in great colors, royal blue, turquoise, bright gold, red and black. They had rolling suitcases in various sizes to match, too. I had priced similar bags online for $30-$35; some of them were really childish design, too.

Anyway, I also got doodle pads and coloring books for the trip. As well as herb tea, some spices, pot holders and pictures frames.

I have gotten some great party favors and centerpieces there; when my oldest was born I got the cutest silverplated alphabet block banks that we attached balloons to for her Baptism celebration centerpieces.

I just love remembering all the great bargains...
