I think I remember that you can ship stuff down to your resort ahead of time. If anyone has any insight on this, let me know! I have no way of getting the favors/placecards down there!! :scared1:

I did! We used FedEx! It was cheaper than UPS for us. I have heard that the convention center-attached resorts are now charging you $10 if you receive a package there, but people's experience with actually being charged has been mixed.

Still, it would be worth it not to have to schlep the stuff.

On the advice of a fellow DISer, I put this info on each box and on a piece of paper IN each box:

- name
- “in care of [the resort where you are staying]”
- “hold for check-in on [your date]”
- the resort address

Don't put your ressie # on the boxes because that # is linked to your credit card.

We shipped stuff about 2 weeks ahead, FedEx Ground, and it arrived within a week. But we're in California, so your results may vary! :cutie:

Thanks Carrie! :goodvibes We're doing the POFQ - even if they hit me with a charge, I'm open to it at this point!

Did they deliver it to your room, or how did you get it?

At check-in they offered to have bell services deliver it to our room, but we just had them bring it out and carried it ourselves.
