Anyone seen the Ferocious Sea Monster

In the instructions for Pirates they show a Ferocious Sea Monster ! I have yet to see him! LOL Or is it Nessy?

Yes, we have seen him. I am only aware of him in level 2 on first stage. You will see a little swirly thing in the water not the wirlpool much smaller like (o) and its not in the same place I think sometimes it is off the page. Anyway, I don't think he will come up unless someone goes near him. He is not a friendly sea monster. Depending on your health, he can destroy you or an ememy in one strike. For kicks go find him.


Edit: I just played level two ten times and still didn't see it so it is very rare. -Shame on you for stealing from ned!

It's rare, but I believe some people have seen it before...especially on Level 2, Stage 1. I've never seen it (I'm more of a Fireworks and "Steal From Ned" person), but the people that play Pirates all the time have seen it before. I hear if your boat touches it...it's immediately destroyed. Can someone confirm this for me?

I have seen him a few time sand i have played thousands of games. He does kill you if he comes out when you are in that spot.

Yes, I had a narrow escape from him!! I was lucky....I didn't know about him and the person I was playing with got eaten. Then just as I was about to get too close to the tiny swirl, I realized what had happened and turned away just as he popped up!!!

I don't remember where we saw her, but she did take down VegasMonarch in a game we played last month! Surprised the heck out of both of us 'cuz we did not know the monster existed at the time!

I saw "Nessie" take down a couple enemy ships way back in June. It was on level 2, but it was in the 3rd stage. She seems to like to lurk around the outer edges of the map - so beware!

As one of the victims of the sea monster, I can tell you that it is not pretty to be eaten. It is particularly bad when you are kicking butt ("but talks" in vmk before I was warned about that one, lol) on pirates (my whole team was defeated, and i had single-handedly defeated three of the four enemy ships) and then get eaten by a monster. I actually used to be purple, but the sea monster's digestive fluids turned me green before he ungraciously spat me out onto the pier. In protest of this sea monster, I think we all need to gather near the pirate pier and have an anti-sea monster rally! Down with serpents of the sea!

I saw him yesterday and about lost it. If I see him again I hope to get a shot off to see what it would do. I did not know I could be eaten though!

And I was about declare he must be gone like Puff(the dragon) After a full day of playing to get a shot of him I didn't even see the swirl but I know he used to be there.

I have'nt figured out how to post a picture yet, but i just saw the sea monster today 8/22 level 2, 1st stage. I tryed to get a screen shot but when I looked at it all you can see with the clouds is me dead and the little swirl...he went back in before I could get his picture.

Ive played this game at least 20 times a day for weeks and weeks and have yet to see her.. or is it a him....
I think this may be an Urban Legend....

Ok, I play pirates alot and have never seen the sea serpent but thanks for posting the picture so I know what to look out for!!

Has anyone seen the storm? RanierEars and I were playing when a tornado broke out! That was scary enough but it followed me throughout VMK!! I am not kidding. After I left the pirates game, the tornado was on every black screen(changing or waiting to get into rooms) I had for the rest of the day. Anyone else have this?

Maybe the tornado wasn't supposed to follow you around, and it was just a glitch in the game. If the storm doesn't happen very often, maybe no one noticed the problem.
