Was wondering if you liked it or not...?
Thought about maybe seeing it...

Haven't seen it yet, but would love to. It looks really good. Plus, I really like Ashton. :teeth:

I have seen 'Just Married' a few times..& my favorite part is when she throws the ashtray at Ashton and he says 'Son of a BEE--Atch'....sooo stupid it had me dying...:jester:

Plus the whole part where he is 'going to ram the gate'...:jester:

DH and I saw the Butterfly Effect on Saturday. We really liked it. Found out Sunday that 4 of our friends from church had also seen it Saturday. They liked it, too. The story is good, the movie is interesting to look at, and the actors all do a fine job. I'll warn you, though - there are a couple of scenes with implied sex and/or nudity. Not really graphic, but I would suggest NOT taking your kids to see it.

I had really wanted to see it until it only got a 1/2 *......so waiting for more reviews.
Let me know if you guys see it and how it is.

I saw the Butterfly Effect yesterday. Here are my thoughts.

The whole concept is incredible and mind-boggling, and I love it. It was an extremely well-acted film, especially Ashton for being in a dramatic role when we're used to seeing him do comedic stuff; he did an incredible job. At some points I felt like it was just gonna go back and forth forever, and when it finally ended, I was like, wait...that's not how it's supposed to happen! You get really into it. There are some scenes that are really disturbing and not for the faint-of-heart, but it was all really, really interesting with how it all played into the concept of the butterfly effect. It really makes you think, "what if....?"

I really enjoyed this movie, it reminded me a lot of 'Frequency' from a few years ago, only the tone was much 'darker', not as lighthearted.

It got a LOT of bad reviews around here, but my BF and I thought it was amazing. Very good story line. But I definatly have to agree it is NOT for children. There was a family there when I went with quite a few youngins (probably ages 4-10)-what puzzled me is that even with the disturbing parts (some of which caused me to turn and hide in my BF's shoulder), the parents were not phased, and the children left the theatre laughing?!

I just saw it and thought that it was very well done. Loved the plot and the acting (expecially the girl) I can't believe that it got bad reviews-but I guess if Tom Cruise had starred in it, then people would have looked at it differently.
