Anyone see this about scorpions & SW?!

The guy who owns the bag is the one who brought the scorpions on board. He was coming from Arizona where there are scorpions. Southwest does not have scorpions on their planes.

I caught a bit of an interview with the guy. Talk about overdramatic! :rolleyes1

Our house in AZ backed to a nature preserve. We didn't think about the creepy, crawlies issue when we bought... just liked the open space. Darn bark scorpions loved getting inside our house where it was cooler. In the 6 or so years we lived there DD was stung once and I was stung twice. Not a lot of fun for sure, but not nearly as bad as the plane guy made it sound.

Admittedly, a whole family of scorpions in the overhead bins on a plane is freaky though.

We live in El Paso and periodically find scorpions in our house (our cats are great at finding them). For the average person it's like a bee sting - I've been stung and so has my son with no problems. It's another story if the person is allergic to bee or wasp stings.

I'm not one to take things too seriously, so I know it's a fluke...but still...scorpions :scared1:

...I don't know if I should be more concerned about snakes or scorpions now :sad2:

OR the dreaded....

Snapes on a plane!!!
