Two things you can do:
Find a Disney Store closest to your town and go there, or wait till your at Disney World to buy Disney Dollars.
The two Disney Stores in my town closed a few years ago, so now I have to drive 45 minutes to buy Disney Dollars at a mall in Denver! So we save our money in the bank, and then when it gets closer to our trip, we drive 45 minutes to buy all the Disney Dollars we need.
I'm saving Disney Dollars for the kids (big and little )
I've been buying a few ($10 - $20) each time we go to the mall. I gave the kids each $10 for Valentine's Day and they will get some for Easter, Halloween, etc. DS#2 received $50 for his b-day and we will ask more people to get disney $$ instead of toys for DS#1's b-day in May. I'm hoping to have between $200 and $300 for each of the boys when we leave.
Since we will be going in early December, Santa will also be sending some Disney $$ for the kids to spend
